Description

Recently, I completed an artist residency in Ireland, where I visited the archeological site called Slieve na Calliagh (Hill of the Witches), comprised of three small hills, with passage graves alligned to the equinox. I loved this site. So few people visit it. I sat inside the dark chamber right beside the enormous monoliths carved with circles and spirals.

An OCAD graduate who also holds a Masters degree in Psychology, Janice has shown her work annually in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Her work is found in public and corporate collections in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. She has served as a juror for exhibitions and conducted painting workshops. She has been an artist-in-residence in Spain and Ireland.
