BAC Customer Service and Facility Assistant: Permanent Part-Time

The Visitor and Facility Department is always looking for energetic, enthusiastic and detail-oriented people to join our team. This job has 3 major areas of responsibility; applicants must be able to perform all of these duties during their shift:
 

1) Room Set Ups
Physical lifting and moving of  tables, chairs, carts, portable screens, projectors, easels, model stands and furniture dollies
Ensuring that daily set ups and takedowns are complete
, assist with special event set ups and takedowns (weddings & parties)

2) Customer Service
Provide courteous and friendly reception, directing calls and answering BAC related questions in a fast paced environment
Maintain a current and broad knowledge of all activities and events taking place at the Centre  
Follow emergency, fire alarm, and forced entry procedures
Process
class registrations, memberships, sale of artwork, parking fees, & room rental fees
Provide First Aid when required  (First Aid Training provided)
 

3) Facility Assistant                 
Closing and opening building
Key management
Occasionally, the position requires emptying garbage & managing recycling, parking lot attendance, maintaining washroom and floors  

Hours may include:
Monday to Thursdays 4pm-10:30pm (or later) Fridays (possibly 5pm-2am) Saturdays and Sundays (possibly until 2am)
